FRANCESCA IS FLAMINÕ
- Blowing away her audiences with her amazing vocal power, this local diva continues to astound critics everywhere with her latest 7 song CD release. But thatÕs not the only thing that has people talking about her. Besides the fact that she translates very well to film and video, it is just damn hard to find a singer of this quality. The club circuit is so crammed with too many female vocal stylists that canÕt hold a note to FrancescaÕs voice. Not only is she pure show biz, but her band is full of show stopping purists who rule on their individual instruments. When you see her live you are reminded that, yes, real STARS still exist, and yes, the industry continues to ignore them. So, forget the industry. Francesca is her own industry. She is a manufacturer of great vocal melodies and killer dance moves. Check her out if you get a chance. You will leave the room with a high pitch fever blaring in your brain....

A STIRLING PERFORMANCE
Once in a millenium, a masterful piece of musical endeavor is born in the outer reaches of the realm of the sonic sound. In the Judas Priest classic, ÓDreamer DecieverÓ, Rob Halford warns us all with these words: ÓAnd if you get, and hold onto the note you would see your mind is free.Ó That freedom comes from the album,ÓThis Way OutÓ by Sterling Brig. Released on Withani Records this year this twelve song power punching rock masterpiece leaves listeners wanting to know when the next album is coming out. This album is so good that after reviewing tweleve tracks, I could instantly pick out three or four hit singles in the rock AC marketplace. Stirling Brig features two members from Scotland. Not only do they emulate the vibe of Mel Gibson in the Hollywood box office smash ÓBraveheart,Ó the rest of the members mesh together with an unbeliveable musical chemistry found only in such legendary bands as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Check out there website at http://www.stirlingbrig.com

JAMIEÕS NOT CRYING
Local sexy songstress Jamie Green is rumored to be one of the first in line to recieve the most prestigious music honors at the 10th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards being held November 21st at the Beverly Hilton International Ballroom. Rumor has it that Jamie is a personal favorite of selections committee members. The question now becomes, ÓDoes Jamie truly have what it takes to make it in this most difficult of entertainment endeavors?Ó Yes, itÕs true she is an amazing writer and composer, as well as being an incredible dancer and stage performer. You ask, Ódoes she have star power?Ó The answer is a resounding YES!!! But then the question becomes, Ódoes she have staying power in a industry that attacks the weak and rewards the strong?Ó Jamie Green is HOT,HOT,HOT!!!!!!!

JUST LIKE ROBBING THE MANK
Local guitar hero Timothy Mank is on the road to the big time. Not only has his debut album caught the ears of industry heavyweights, his live performances leave audiences screaming for more. Using a variety of melodies, Timothy Mank composes songs that sound like they are from an era long gone since the departure of Jim Morrison. It is a rare occasion indeed to find an independent album that flows with such melodic movement. With lyrical content which is the cause for an overiding judgement of any and all opinions of music critics, let this article serve as notice: Timothy Mank is the supreme ruler of the songwriterÕs domain. It is hereby decreed on this 27th day of October in the year of our lord with angels in choir and voices in the invisible realm; with forces of nature for which Druids shall sing and children will bathe in purified holy water chanting the name of the holy chosen guitar god, for which legends of lore will forever speak his name amongst those with great musical talent and prowess...

DOUBLING UP - John Homen, the newest member of the Double Kick Club, is currently vying for a major deal with local heavies LINK. His current project headed by the amazing Ronnie Borchert, empahsizes a ripping style of hard music not heard since the days of early MC5. Homen says that he learned early in his career that a good double kicker is truly hard to find. Ó I have been really fortunate to have found great players who know how to properly use a drummer like myself. Ronnie writes tunes that are very kind to my hungry feet. I love doing the double times that LINKÕs melody lines bring to the live shows,Ó says the humble Homen. Borchert, who is Director of Celebrity Talent Acquisitions for the 10th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards, says that HomenÕs style brings out the best in his compositons. ÓJohn Homen is the King. He is the supreme ruler of the drummer universe,Ó said the dynamic Ronnie......

ANOTHER NAKED GIRL - Vaneesa Talor, whose senual style of stage performance raises eyebrows everywhere she plays, will be recieving the Caberet Artist of the Year at the 10th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards on Tuesday, November 21st at the Beverly Hilton Hotel International Ballroom. Talor, whose brash and full frontal album art take listeners to a whole new arena of musical pleasure, has risen up out of nowhere to gain top honors at this event. Ó I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something as big as this event is this year, Ó said the stunning actress and vocal stylist. This year, Vaneesa will be wearing Body Art by Tina Marie in the form of over 5000 sparkling rhinestones on her naked, beautiful flesh. At her recent show at Goldfingers, Vaneesa got the crowd on their feet with her incredible, bodacious set of breasts that shimmer under the bright lights of the big stage. She is pure visual Viagra. Wow!

GROOVEWORKS IS GROOVINÕ - Bringing out something new for artists to enjoy during their rehearsel time,

GROOVEWORKS ENTERTAINMENT continue to astound the local scene building more and more rooms to their already impressive studio space over in Torrance. With the imminent opening of their recording studio, GROOVEWORKS will have not only the finest rehearsal facility in Los Angeles, but perhaps in the U.S. Rodney, who manages the place, now resides their most of the time in one of three guest hotel style suites on the premises. He wants all artists to know that they will be there to serve them all with the finest band friendly space in the city. RODNEY has been selected as the recipient of an L.A. Music Award this year......;..

A RUSH TO JUDGEMENT - With their debut release on Epic Records called ÓVolumeÓ, SLOWRUSH is one of the most promising new musical ensembles to come out of the grass roots music scene in years. The album features a mix of heavy industrial techna-metal and powerful production enhancements that leave your
body quivering. The music is so completely unpredictable as to be bold beyond the norm. Production value and masterful engineering are the things that keep my interest when it comes to music I listen to. This album exemplifies those standards. The first three tracks called, Ó Concrete Bubble,Ó ÓJunkieÓ, and ÓMono BabyÓ are incredible tunes that showcase not only modern originality, but vintage Bowie and T-Rex styles as well. This
is great album, pure and simple. You can buy it anywhere. Get it now before some boneheaded executive bean counter over at Epic decides that they have to drop the band for some ÓdownsizingÓ or Ócost cuttingÓ move to save the label some money so that they can get a better country club membership.

RODNEY PART 2 - Reviews from RODNEYÕS latest show at Pleasures are good. Using his own dancers in combination with the babes at the club, RODNEY rocked the house. His fast paced style of power pop goes
well with a lot of female eye candy. He can sing with a multi- octave range and has a distinctive sound that gives his voice its own trademark style. RODNEY shows some flashes of brilliance in his compositions by using a variety of heavy up front with lighter back ground instrumentation. He also owns his own recording
and rehearsal facility called Grooveworks Recording and Rehearsal Complex in Torrance. ( 310 ) 257-4949.
The facility has 14 individual rehearsal rooms and all are fully equipped. DonÕt you just love it when artists do things that help and benefit other artists?

A NAKED GIRL - She is hot and sexy. She is a major talent as well. She is VANESA TALOR and she is a Caberet artist. Recently completing a three week stint at the El Rey Theatre, she is now embarking on her second video from her debut album. Her first video entitled, Ó Who Do I Have To Blow,Ó features some pretty provocative lyrics. I do believe that the hook is more than strong enough to become a hit. Meeting her in person, she brings back memories of Hollywood yesteryear. Her vibe is pure innocence, yet her persona is just oozing of fine feminine sensuality. She is sexy beyond what you might imagine with your own mind. She truly has big screen qualities. All of you should keep your eye out for her in your local movie theatre. But hey, this is a music magazine and she has a solid 10 song CD. All sex, all the time, this is VANESA! Currently, she is a top consideration for an L.A. Music Award this year. My opinion aside, I have to believe that any red blooded American male would love to worship the ground she walks upon. What a dynamic star she is......

MORE BRALALALA - Just what you wanted to hear about right? Well this guy keeps himself getting around this town simply by being the most bizarre character there is. For those who have met him in person, they are always left mortified by the astounding intelligence of this mega madman. Of course, sometimes people think that they are meeting just another strange looking androgenous freako. Spend a few minutes in deep thought with this guy and you will understand. Individuality is in short supply these days. It takes big balls to do what Bralalalala is doing. He is huge in Europe and Asia, as well Canada and the Middle East. Yet in this town, he remains in relative obscurity, surrounded by wannabeÕs and hopefuls who donÕt even compare to his musical prowess. This humanoid writes songs that kids love to slam dance to and heavy music aficionados worship. An icon of rather magnanomous proportions, this is Bralalalala...
