Special Comments:
The Oceanside city beaches all share a nearly four-mile contiguous stretch of sand with many small stairway and driveway accesses.

Pacific Street Linear Park, the one-mile stretch of broad sand beach located near the Oceanside Pier, is by far the most popular. There is a nice boardwalk and one-way street at beach level.

The Oceanside Pier has many activities and a great nightlife with an open-air stadium and a movie complex within walking distance. The California Surf Museum is located just up street from pier. Parking near the pier is often difficult on weekends.

A bit further south is Tyson Street Park, with Buccaneer Beach near Morse Street in South Oceanside.

Food/dining:
Four blocks inland, South Coast Highway (101) parallels the beach for its length and features a wide variety of restaurants and shops. There are also several good restaurants around Oceanside Harbor.

Restrooms:
Showers and restrooms are available at all main beach accesses, including Pacific Street Linear Park, Tyson Street Park and Buccaneer Beach Park.
