This wide-open and clear white sand is very family-friendly. Playground equipment is available on the median of the parking. Some tourists show up on weekends and holidays, but this is mostly a locals' spot. Also a popular surfing break, although surfing may be blackballed (prohibited) when conditions are unsafe.Food/Dining: The closest concession stand is 1/4-mile away in Bolsa Chica State Beach.
Facilities: Lifeguards, surfing, fishing, bike trail, bus stop, playground, volleyball, showers.
Restrooms: Five restrooms are located along the median of the parking strip.
Dogs: OK in parking lots and pavement, but not on sand.
