Classic 1970s-era beachfront homes, the pier and Main Street create a quaint and friendly atmosphere. A moderate influx of tourists arrive on the weekends. Rentals can be found in the city, but not on the beach. No surfing is allowed between the pier and third lifeguard tower to the north after 10 a.m.Food/Dining: No concessions are available on the beach, but there are many eateries nearby on Main Street.
Facilities: Lifeguards, surfing, bus stop, playground, volleyball, showers.
Restrooms: Pier restrooms were given a facelift in late 1998.
Dogs: OK in parking lots and pavement, but not on sand.
