The wide, clean sand attracts a lot of families as well as many youths. The jetties located at several streets are popular for surfing and fishing. Playgrounds are found near the parking lots on Ocean Front Street.Food/Dining: No concessions are available on the sand. The further you go from the pier, the more likely you'll want to find something on PCH or pack in your own food.
Facilities: Lifeguards, surfing, fishing, bike paths, bus stop, playground, fire rings, showers, basketball courts, volleyball.
Restrooms: As this area is more removed from the pier hubbub, restrooms are less frequently available.
Dogs: Allowed in parking lots and on pavement only; not allowed on the sand.
