Special Comments:
For Your Convenience
The state beach is also quite family friendly, with much of it a little removed from the downtown/pier scene. It's also very popular with groups. The numerous fire rings are ablaze on many nights. Rentals of all sorts are run seasonally. A paved boardwalk — ideal for biking and skating — runs the length of the beach, separating the parking lot and sand.

Food/Dining: Food concessions are run seasonally.

Facilities: Lifeguards, surfing, bike paths, fishing, fire rings, food stands, rentals, showers.

Restrooms: Individual, unisex restrooms are adjacent to the parking areas. They are maintained daily.

Dogs: Leashed dogs are allowed on paved areas only, not on the beach.
