For Your Convenience
The bluffs, with the rare coastal scrub on top, make this an unusual beach experience. The rather long walk and steep access paths also make it a little tough to get to for youngsters, elderly, etc. But you'll find wonderful tide pools, a couple of streams that empty out of the bluffs (including one waterfall), and some nice surf. The smooth, paved paths on top of the bluff make for good biking and skating.Food/Dining: There are no food stands on the beach. Pack it in and pack it out.
Facilities: Lifeguards, bus stop, bike path, diving, surfing, fishing, showers, tide pools.
Restrooms: Many enclosed unisex restrooms are available in the parking area on top of the bluffs. Some chemical portable toilets are on the beach.
Dogs: No dogs allowed on the sand at any time. Leashed dogs are only allowed in the parking lot and multi-use trails.
