The Who Revue to perform at LA JEMM's MMAC!
Just announced: The Who Revue, L.A.'s premier Who tribute band, will perform during
LA JEMM's Medical Marijuana Awareness expo on April 18!
Band members Joey Grillo (Roger Daltrey), Alex Gitter (Pete Townsend), Peter Burke (Keith Moon),
Brian Paulson (THE OX/John Entwistle), and Fred Bensi (keyboards) put on a high-energy live
performance that recreates the experience of a live show by The Who at their peak. Not just Who
fanatics, the band members are also music veterans who have toured nationally and appeared on stage
and screen. Grillo starred in Bill Aucoin's production of "QUAD: A Rock Opera," a theatrical staging
of the Who's Quadrophenia. "Pinball Wizard" was the first song Gitter learned to play on guitar
as a teenager. Get ready to rock and roll.
Living in the future with Anthony Aquarius Mystery
Last week we interviewed the amazing Anthony Aquarius Mystery, the spot-on Jimi Hendrix impersonator
scheduled to perform at LA JEMM's Medical Marijuana Awareness Expo on April 18. During our half-hour
sit-down with Mystery, he discussed his band's upcoming shows with Parliament-Funkadelic, plus
his insights on Elvis, Mick Jagger, Hollywood's demon, and living in the future.

MMAC Preview: Count Smokula from Smokesylvania
This just in: Undead international cult icon Count Smokula will perform at
LA JEMMÕs Medical Marijuana Awareness ExpoÊon April 18!
The Count has become a cult (or is that occult?) icon, performer, and emcee. Also known as
the "King of Fantasy" and the "Rockabilly Vampire," the singer-songwriter, comedian, and
multi-instrumentalist hosts Hollywood's "Count Smokula Show." An inductee into the
Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Count Smokula has appeared on E!, CNN, UPN's "Blind Date," and Fox TV's
"30 Seconds of Fame." In 2003 the Count won Best Comedy Album of the Year for his album
Authentic Sounds of Smokesylvania.
Other acts scheduled to perform at the Expo: Anthony Aquarius Mystery, KK Holliday, Paint It Black,
and Gena Mason. Also, State Senate hopeful Adrian Galysh will speak on medical marijuana and
